Resumes Are About Relevancy

What are resumes? Do you know what they are used for? Fact is, resumes are for a potential employer to read about your skills, values, what you offer, accomplishments and highlights. Your story should be about what you brings to their organization, not what you want out of them.

  • What do you offer?

  • Why should someone hire you?

  • Who are you, and is your experience strong enough to get you noticed?

You have an opportunity to really showcase what you have to offer in a one or two page offering. What are you going to put on there that makes you stand-out and what differences you have to offer? Are the facts about your work history, education, and any extra volunteer or activities up to date? If you have not volunteered or joined an activity for over 3 years, no need to keep it on there. (Yes, I have lots more ideas, tips, and words to use. Everyone is an individual)

Resumes are for relevancy. How relevant are you? Are you good enough and do they want you?

I can help you! I can teach you how to make YOUR voice and YOUR words shine on YOUR resume.
