Employers Hiring in 2023: Value, Purpose, and Why

Dear hiring managers,

Did you know if you want more referrals that you need to know what you are really looking for, why you are looking for that person and what values they will be bringing to your team and company? Did you know that if you understand the purpose of the hiring and get all managers invested you would have a more successful hire? Did you know that if you treat each person the same, but don’t ask all the same questions you just might find your person faster? Did you also know that if you show how much you value your team and company while interviewing, you may find the correct person faster?

 You may know what you are doing when you are hiring but ask yourself these questions:

  • Do I know how to hire in 2023?

  • Do I know if I want to hire 100% remote, hybrid or in the office, and if so, why do I want them to work in this environment? And just because most want 100% remote, is it the right choice for your company?

  • What is the culture and message you are sharing with the potential hires? 

Before you post, ask yourself this:

  • What is the purpose of this hire?

  • What value do I want them to offer and what value to I offer them?

  • Why am I hiring and why do I need a person to work remotely, hybrid or in the office?
