Brave
What is it like to be brave? How does one identify with being brave? According to the Oxford dictionary, “brave” is being ready to face and endure danger or pain, showing courage. From the definition, I wager there are two parts to being brave: The ability to endure, and courage.
Wow, that is a lot!! How does one try to be brave? How do you make yourself be brave?
Wish I knew the answers. But, alas, I don’t. But what I do know is that I am about to as brave as one needs to be in the coming months.
To my clients, followers, people who depend on me, my family and friends: As of May 2023, I will be taking a leave of absence. Not because I want to, but because of life, and we all know life happens!! Life is part of who we are. And how we approach it is how we identify with ourselves.
I have learned that fear is often associated with fearless acts of heroism. In this case, it is not me!
However, because of you all, and I mean all of you, I am about to share with you what my bravery is all about.
• Compassion
• Confidence
• Commitment
I am and will always stand by my name, my beliefs, and how I treat others. I made a commitment to you all to be there for you, and I still plan to, (I’m not going anywhere), and will be, but after my LOA. I am confident I will return to myself when I am back!!!
You will be in very capable and strong hands when I am gone. Jean and I share a lot of the same beliefs, she is highly intelligent, has the ambition to help run MASTOR Recruiting while I am away and knows and respects how I run my business.
So, what can you do while I am away? Stay true to yourself. Ask questions when you need and want to. Ask for help-really is an eye opener and makes you feel extremely humble and real.
I am not looking for:
• Are you ok?
• What is going on?
• What do you need?
• How can I help?
What I am looking for:
• Help others
• Reach out to others with a smile
• Go forth in your career and be bold-make the move-make a choice-take a chance-make the change
My Marketing manager, Kelly, Of Willow & Oak Business Solutions (yes, I know she is awesome, which is why she is partner of MASTOR Recruiting) will be posting, encouraging you with my words of wisdom, my thoughts, and my direction for you all. You can’t get rid of me that easily😉. And when I can, I will be updating you all on my life.
Life happens people. My life turned around on me and instead of sulking, like I really wanted to, I listened to myself. I listened to the words I share with you daily and reminded myself to do the same. Hard lesson to learn, which I did a few years back, DON’T CONTRADICT YOURSELF.
So, as I am off on my “Sh_t happens to us all” adventure, I leave you all with this.
• RESPECT YOURSELF
• LISTEN TO YOUR INNER VOICE WHEN YOU DON’T WANT TO (the good one, not the bad one)
• REMEMBER NO ONE CAN BE YOU, BUT YOU
• TAKE A LEAP
• STAY HEALTHY, MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY
• LOVE YOURSELF!!!!
THANK YOU ALL FOR SUPPORTING MASTOR RECRUITING & CAREER CONSUTLING, IF NOT FOR YOU ALL, I WOULD NOT IN BUSINESS. SO, UNTIL THAN, HAVE A GREAT LIFE, ENJOY YOU AND HUG THOSE AROUND YOU😉
With very special thanks,
