For 30 years I have shared my beliefs in looking for a new career during the holiday season.

Now is the time to keep pushing forward. Let everyone else wait till the beginning of the year, let them compete against each other. You, on the other hand, will get the upper hand and show your potential new employer that as much as you love holidays, you come first and finding your next career is a priority.

Not saying don’t celebrate and take time for you and your loved ones, but make sure you also don’t give up on yourself or use the holidays as an excuse.
