Rejoice, Reflect, Accept 2024
Tis the season to rejoice, reflect, and to accept all that has happened to a person in one year. Well, thankfully, I can do all three.
REJOICE: I am healthy, I have my immediate family all within 20 minutes of me, I have my village, and of course, you! The support we all give to each other is enough for me.
REFLECT: Yes, my life has been a bit of a rollercoaster, but I can still look at myself every morning and say, “hello!” I still reflect on how I got here, why I am still here, and how I plan to stay around for a bit longer.
ACCEPT: ME. I accept me, I accept you, and I accept what life throws at me. (Sometimes not happy about it, but once again, as you all know, CHANGE, is one of my favorite words). One of the reasons I am successful in what I do is because of all of you. Accept yourself, regardless of the situation you are all in, (and I know a lot of you are in a, “not so happy” situation), but you have your people and mostly, YOU. Without you, yourself and I, you would not be reading this, accepting it and appreciating yourself for all that you offer to yourself.
So, rejoice yourself, reflect on your past but don’t dwell on it, and mostly, accept yourself. Be friends with yourself first so you can build a village of happiness. I wish you all very happy holidays with a bright and healthy 2025.

P.S. Don’t forget to start thinking of your “word” of the year.
